Hi Life Coach,

I'm in the process evaluating my career and have always enjoyed coaching others. I've coached children, and enjoy helping others develop new perspectives on things and approaches for getting things done. I'm interested in learning more about becoming a Life Coach, but frankly have economic commitments that require me to stay above six figures. Can this be done?

Thanks!

Yes!

Six figures is fairly easily attainable.

Many successful business people, lawyers, counselors, etc. move into coaching.

In coaching you can make as little or as much as you want. It depends on how much you are willing to put into it! But it is in demand, highly valuable and it helps people. A recipe for success!

Our resources here can tell you more and help you get started: http://www.mylifecoach.com/how_to_become_a_coach.htm

Good luck!

Dear LifeCoach,

I'm interested in the MBIT and am curious about the different forms of the test.

Is there an advantage to taking it online? Is there an advantage to taking the test in person and on paper? Why is it that there are some tests that 'claim' to be an authorized test site but the exam has 93 questions on it? Why the variance between the number of questions.

Thanks!!!

Hi Aubrey,

Thanks for your question!

The real advantage to taking the MBTI online is the speed of the results.  With a paper version, it usually takes a couple of weeks to get the results, but we can have your results back in 2-12 hours.

There also is the convenience of being able to take it anywhere, anytime.

So I don't really know of any advantages of doing the paper version!  The results are just the same, and online you get your results faster.

Various versions of the MBTI have been developed over the years...The Form M version has 93 questions, while the Form Q, which we use has 144 questions.  With the Form M, you can generate "Step I" results, while with the Form Q, you can generate Step I and Step II.

We use the Form Q, so that users can get both Step I and Step II results if they like, or just get Step I now, and get Step II generated from the same assessment some time later.

Hope that is helpful!

Hi Ben,

The MBTI or Myers-Briggs Type Indicator was developed from Jungian personality theory...

The people that own it can be found here:  http://www.cpp.com

Hi Paul,

Your Life Coach helps you reach your goals in many ways, let me outline some of those ways!

- Provides an accountability mechanism
- Helps you understand what you REALLY want, so there is more energy behind the goals you set
- Helps you learn about yourself and how you can be most effective
- Can provide you specific skills to help you reach your goals
- Provides energy, support and belief in you!

That's really just the basics...Everything about coaching helps you reach your goals.  Usually you'd work with your coach by phone 3 times a month, setting interim objectives each time, so you are always moving forward.

It's amazing what I've seen people accomplish in my 9 years of experience coaching people!

Let me know if that started to answer your question!
